    I love a good Monday! It’s a fresh start to the week.
    I haven’t always loved Monday’s. Honestly, I used to dread them. I used to think about all the things that I didn’t want to do, how busy the week was going to be, or when I would get any time for myself. I think there is a negative stigma attached to Monday’s but over the last few years I have really grown to love them. 
    Today I want to talk about 5 steps to have a more positive Monday. These are going to be quick, simple things you can do to start your week off on the right foot!

    Amanda Mick is the creator and founder of SOWBO which stands for Society of Women Business Owners. It’s a networking group that connects women from all over the United States.     Summer is here, kids are all home for summer, routines are off, and you are going on vacation. It’s a whole lot of fun but also might feel chaotic at times. 
    I think we can get in our heads this time of year that we need to be doing all the things, all the time but what would it look like for us to slow down a bit and enjoy summer instead of wishing it away. So whether you are a mom or someone just counting down the days until the next vacation or time off, I want us all to live these 2 months with intentionality! I want you to find balance and confidence in the midst of the chaos and routine shake ups!

    One of my favorite things about being a health coach is getting to watch people break through the negative thoughts and patterns that they have when it comes to their health. To see women realize that they can pursue their health in a way that’s enjoyable and fun.
    My friend and client Mandi Fisher is on the show today sharing about her journey with the FASTer Way. We are going to talk about  why she started the FW, how she has been able to stay consistent, what this looks like as a working mom, and why she would recommend it to someone else.
    She jumped right into all the strategies that the FW teaches and ran with it. I remember after her initial 6 weeks she told me “I’m never going to stop living this lifestyle.” And she hasn’t. When I think of my membership clients who have been so consistent, Mandi is one of the first people I think about.
    I know her story will encourage you to take the next step in your health no matter what that looks like.

    We have heard all of our life that words are powerful.
    They have the ability to tear down or build up. That isn’t new information. And I would say we have all been on both sides of that. We have all said something that we wish we could take back. And we have all been on the receiving end of words that we wish we never had to hear.
    Today I want to share 3 ways our words can have a positive impact on someone else. We are going to talk about affirming someone's strengths and gifts, inspiring someone to take a bold step forward, and building confidence in someone by our words. 
     Be intentional about the things you are saying. Be the voice in someone's life that makes them take that next bold step forward in something. Be the voice that encourages and inspires. Be the voice that is building confidence in someone!
