I interviewed Taniya Battle over where she is from and how it is different from Oxford. Taniya said that Madison actually is very much like where she is from and that where she grew up shaped her into the person she is today. Taniya said that if it was not for her parents putting her into the school in Madison, she would more than likely not be at Ole Miss. It is crazy to see how much a person can be shaped just by their hometown.
