The podcast for non-professional dancers
In 2019, in the midst of depression - 5-6-7-8 host, Jenifer Chang embarked on a self-imposed, one-year dance challenge to become a better dancer. What started out as a mental health journey, quickly became an obsession and the path she used to find herself amongst the chaos. 5-6-7-8 is an honest, raw look at what it's like to start something new. It is a celebration of the beginner and those brave enough to reach outside of their comfort zones.

We chat about how finding the right class and studio can be a bit of a trial and error process, the many ways we hold ourselves back in class and how we continue to train during Covid.
