“ClimateConflict” is a podcast by Polis180 that examines the relationship between climate change and conflict from various perspectives. Security risks due to climate change are increasingly becoming part of the public debate. But what does this mean exactly? What are the risks of climate change for global, regional and local peace? What kinds of conflicts can we expect, and which resources and regions are affected the most? Will there be wars over water or will migration flows due to climate change put increasing pressure on local communities? We will not only talk about possible connections of climate change and security issues, but also look at approaches to deal with the risks posed by climate change. Together with guests from academia, politics, and civil society we discuss these issues from different perspectives to get a wholistic view on the topic.. Tune in, if you want to find out more about how climate change is making the world more insecure.
