    • Sociedade e cultura

ZEITGUIDE Founder and CEO Brad Grossman zeitguides us into the new "Cultural Renaissance," inspired by Lawrence Wright's NEW YORKER article “How Pandemics Wreak Havoc – and Open Minds.” Brad distills how we are consuming and producing art throughout the pandemic, and the innovations in communication and entertainment that accompany it. Brad then leads interviews with two of the most influential creative executives in the Entertainment industry. Four-time TONY Award Winning Broadway Producer, Ron Simons, has more wins than any other African-American producer in history. Ron shares his path into producing, his new creative ventures, and holding the Entertainment industry accountable to it's pledges of substantive inclusion and diversity. Next, Brad interviews David Nevins (Chief Creative Officer of CBS and CEO of Showtime Networks) on the "streamification" of television and what the return of tv/film production could look like in the near future.

Plus, a special performance by DeJoire Hall. The singer/songwriter delivers a stirring rendition of The Color Purple, title song from the Broadway musical.
