A Culture Vulture is a practitioner of cultural appropriation. A Culture Vulture is an inauthentic individual who attempts to identify with aspects of another culture and claim it as their own. As we give some examples of social media platforms that indulge in this behavior.They do this by mimicking aspects of culture that belong to another group of people and not giving credit where credit is due, which creates the illusion that the aspect of culture they are mimicking is authentic to them. They also do this by claiming that certain aspects of another group of people's culture originated with them, with no historical proof to back their claims. Plain and simple there's no them with us. Voting should be as easy and convenient as possible, and in many cases it is. But across the U.S., too many politicians are passing measures making it harder to cast a ballot in black communities. The goal is to manipulate political outcomes, and the results is a severely compromised black community that doesn't reflect the will of the people. Our democracy works best when all eligible voters can participate and have their voices heard. Suppression efforts range from the seemingly unobstructive, like voter ID laws and cuts to early voting, to mass purges of voter rolls and systemic disenfranchisement. And long before election cycles even begin, legislators can redraw district lines that determine the weight of your vote. Certain communities are particularly susceptible to suppression and in some cases, outright targeted people of color, students, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Voters suppression is real and still relevant today!!! Egocentrism is a place where our people find themselves most of the time, whether it's social media or world social issues as a whole; Suffering from Low Self-Worth, when as a people we feel irrelevant, we are left feeling low as if our opinions don't matter. So what we do as a people? We act out, we compromise our integrity, personality and character. Creating this false sense of reality and a inferiority complex. You may wonder if the person recognizes their egocentric ways. As a cognitive bias, egocentrism refers to the natural restriction on our perception caused by the simple fact that we can only see the world from our perspective. It takes special effort to see the world from any perspective other than through our own eyes. For instance, adolescents often spend hours preening themselves because they think, "everyone will notice if I don't look good." They also become highly upset when they experience a minor embarrassment, cause they think everyone saw it and believe everybody will remember it forever. This type of personality disorder is a mental condition in which our people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others. Black women are human too. Their stories, voices and experiences deserve to be heard and validated, just like anyone else’s. Instead of fighting against them, fight for them with them. We all want the same thing: for black women to be treated equally, to have rights, to be seen, to be heard, to live.  A lot of times, it feels like the only people who are fighting for Black women … are other Black women. Yet, when it comes time to fight everyone else’s battles, Black women are magically expected to be fighting right on the front lines. If you can’t protect Black women, then who the hell can you protect? 
Something that never fails to amaze us is how Black women are still expected to fight the good fight while simultaneously being fought against, even in this day and age. On the one hand, they are fighting alongside their Black brothers as Black people who don’t receive the same rights and privileges as their non-Black counterparts. On the other hand, they are fighting for their lives as women, who are not only being oppressed by the color of their skin, but also by the patriarchal systems that make it so that women aren’t seen as true equals to men.
