We're back with our second episode from Joel's new set up (so that might explain if we sound a bit different, he's still getting everything set up) and boy is it one that we've been waiting a long time to do.
First up we've got a Quest Log where Joel touches on a couple of games he checked out from Steam Next Fest, including I Am Your Best and Dungeon Clawler, before Kyran breaks down how his enjoyment of Destiny 2 has been revitalised with the release of The Final Shape.

Meanwhile in Dope or Nope we have a new Nintendo Direct to work our way through and it just so happens to be the one we've been waiting for. Metroid Prime 4 officially resurfaced with a fancy new subtitle 'Beyond', as well as a new Mario & Luigi game (Brothership) and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (finally Zelda is playable). Needless to say that we were shocked after how much Nintendo was playing down the Direct when they said it had no Switch 2 announcements, turns out it never even needed it!

On this week's episode we desperately try to sift through the many video game showcases that took place over the weekend (which is also why the episode is a day late) and we've put together a list of several games across the many presentations that caught our attention.
We picked from Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest presentation, the Xbox showcase, PC Gaming Show, Devolver Digital's Showcase, Wholesome Games Direct, Future of Games, Future Games Show, and the Day of the Devs.
Our lists are only scratching the surface of how many good games were shown, so definitely go hit up some lists of announcements to find stuff that grabs you!

Some technical issues occurred while recording this episode, hopefully I've managed to iron most of them out, but if you notice anything odd that might be the cause.

First up Jesse and Kyran talk about a gig they both attended before Jesse begins to tempt Kyran into picking up Hades 2 (spoiler: he succeeds)
We then talk about our return to Fallout 4 as Bethesda dropped a 'next gen' patch to get the game running in better shape on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox series consoles plus we take some time to break down how we felt about the first season of the Fallout television series that recently dropped on Amazon Prime.

First up is Brendan Hill, who has been checking out Dragon's Dogma 2 with Kyran's jerk of a pawn, Bradford. He's also been terraforming planet's in Planet Crafter and dealing with dealing with arrival of hostile aliens in Terra Invicta, plus a few other games. Kyran also takes advantage of this opportunity to talk about the recently released Into The Light content pack for Destiny 2 (since Brendan is a member of his regular Fireteam) and cautiously look ahead to The Final Shape.
