Our host, Daniel Clarkson Fisher, took a seat on the other side of our table to talk about his documentary work, The Chinese Jamaican Oral History Project, in which he meticulously and thoughtfully records and preserves stories from the Chinese Jamaican community in Toronto.     The first federal prison in Canada, P4W, The Prison for Women, shut its doors in 2000, but the memories of the place are still wide open for many of women who were previously incarcerated there.

    For episode four our host, Sara Wylie, took a seat on the other side of our table to talk about her beautiful film, The Garden Collective, which follows some of these women in their pursuit to establish a memorial garden for those who suffered and died during their time in P4W.

    Sara talks about memorialization, the prison’s brutal and controversial history, her approach to building meaningful relationships with participants, and much more.
