For well over a decade now, Caidance has been producing bangers and blessing dancefloors with heavy beats. Hailing from the San Francisco, Bay Area, Caidance was an important part of the creation of the bass music scene there - DJing and producing alongside artists like G Jones, Minnesota, and The Widdler. Caidance has, and continues to release music of a variety of genres on labels such as Dank ‘N’ Dirty Dubz, The WiddFam, MalLabel Music, and EMP Radio.

Caidance takes us on a journey through multiple vibes and styles for this week’s EMP Podcast. Easing us into the mix with some soundsystem oriented reggae, then moving into 140 jungle and breaks, dubstep, and a little drum and bass. Enjoy!

MntyFrsh is a DJ based out of the Monterey Bay Area in California who has been spinning since the tail end of 2007 (going by the alias "MinceyFresh" for the majority of that time). Although his musical tastes have changed ever so slightly over the years, there has always been one constant: breakbeats. In addition to DJing, he has helped organize and promote events around Monterey and Santa Cruz.

Since he started DJing with EMP in 2021, he's dabbled in house and techno, but found his place among the bass-heads with slow, groovy dub techno.
