One of the best podcasts out there

Nothing short of amazing. In-depth, fun, exploring aspects of Roman life, culture, politics that you don’t easily come across in other sources. It’s a privilege to learn history from such brilliant, academic minds. Matt, as well, is a knowledgeable host, who always asks the right questions.

Awesome podcast, great hosts

Not only is the content of this podcast very interesting, research based and engaging, but also Matt, Dr. Evans and Dr. Davenport have an excellent, dynamic interaction when presenting the topics. This all makes for a great podcast experience. The guests are usually very good, too. Thank you for sharing your work, it’s greatly appreciated.

Amazing!

I love this so much! The episodes are smaller than usual podcasts and that’s actually a bonus! They really go straight to the point and are so good at explaining history!!! Listening all the way from Brasil and having so much fun following each emperor
