In the McDonald’s PlayPlace, I tore a fellow mother apart from ignoring her kids and working on her laptop - in my head. Until the gut-punch of conviction rolled in to remind me that I’m a working mom, too, and it’s hard. Sometimes I’m on my laptop. Sometimes (like that very day) my kids eat Happy Meals. None of that makes me feel like a bad mom, so why was I so intent on judging her?
