Most know Jonathan from his acting career as the host of CBC’s “Street Cents” and “Jonovision,” and as Sunnyvale’s favourite rapper J-ROC on “The Trailer Park Boys.” Recently, Jonathan has gotten behind the mic and teamed up with musician Jeremy Taggart for the weekly podcast “Taggart & Torrens.” Their podcast covers everything weird and wonderful about Canadian nostalgia and is accompanied by the book “Canadianity.”
Jonathon’s acting career has spanned three decades, a testament to the creative and hardworking Atlantic Canadian that he is. He was this year’s host of the East Coast Music Awards, and his new podcast has been nominated for a “Canadian Comedy Award.”
