German by LingoMam is a beginner's interactive German course focusing on useful language and easy communication hosted by language teacher Loa Mazzulla. Each episode gives the essential content during the first five minutes and is followed by more specific vocabulary, exercises, and language learning tips and tricks. The podcast can either be accompanied by the free LingoMam language course "5-Minute-German by LingoMam", or be done on its own.

Conversations
We are diving into small talk. In the first few minutes, we cover all the basics. Then, we move on to more tricky tasks. We learn about the "ich"-sound which isn't too common in other languages, so it can be difficult at the start, but we'll show you a simple trick to pronounce it perfectly every time. We also look at more sophisticated and at colloquial ways to talk to people.

How to Greet in German
We are taking a good look at ways to greet people in German. In the first few minutes, we cover all the basics. Then, we move on to more tricky tasks. Where do we say certain expressions? Where not? What time of the day do we say "Good evening?" Are there any colloquial ways of saying these things? Any easy forms? What should we remember? And how the heck are we supposed to pronounce those weird Umlauts?!
Actually, the answers to all these questions are surprisingly easy.

Introduction
In this introduction we focus on the similarities between German and English. We see several sets of words that German has either borrowed from English, or that have the same roots as their English equivalent.
You will get a chance to first guess the meanings, and then to try pronouncing the German words. It's really easy!!
