Here Nor There is a podcast series currently produced by Gabi Dao out of the Western Front artist-run centre on the unceded and occupied Coast Salish territory, including the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations, aka Vancouver. The podcast independently produces, archives and broadcasts conversations, opinions, research and artistic content in aural form from local and emerging artists, writers, musicians, curators and organizers.

Here Nor There runs alongside its sister series, Slow Wave, an event series that hosts installations, concerts and workshops. Both consider the context of the Western Front as Vancouver’s oldest artist-run centre. They examine the formation of DIY cross-disciplinary, creative communities through both communal and private acts of listening in response to the current precarity of physical spaces of cultural production and exhibition. The two consider the potential of audibility, voices and transmission.
