Martin Wasmer is a scientific advisor to the Swiss parliament on the topic of biotechnology and environmental technology. He is also a visiting scientist at Leibniz University Hannover where he works on integrating epistemology and ethics with regulatory/policy considerations in biotechnology and translational biomedicine.
As primary education, Martin has a double qualification as Master of Science in Biology and Master of Arts in History and Philosophy of Knowledge from the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich respectively. He conducted his PhD at the Centre for Ethics and Law of Leibniz University Hannover where he worked on legal and ethical aspects of genome editing.

David Neumann is a digital Marketing expert and freelancer. After 15+ years of working in the gaming industry for Electronic Arts (EA), he started working as a freelancer in September 2019. His services include content marketing (for websites, direct mailings, and social media), strategic marketing consultancy, and search engine optimization. He also runs a YouTube channel with video tutorials about software for working remotely.

Arash Ahmadi was born in Shiraz, Iran, in 1989. During high school, he became interested in Physics and Astronomy, and even though he was enrolled as a student in the Mechanical Engineering department, he changed his major to Physics in the middle of the way. After finishing the undergraduate studies, he went to Canada for Master and PhD studies. Immigration, even though being at most times harsh, painful, and challenging, gave him the opportunity to explore some aspects of life which were not easily accessible back home. Aspects which have made him question various beliefs and goals he was raised with. About six months ago, he experienced another immigration, and this time from Canada to Germany, and is currently working as a researcher in the Technical University of Munich."

Reem is originally from Lebanon and graduated with a Bachelors degree from the Lebaneses International University in 2012. She moved to Germany to pursue a Master degree in telecommunication engineering at RWTH Aachen in Germany. After her studies, she joined Ericsson Eurolab, a research and development center that is located in Herzongrath (Germany), as a research engineer in radio network protocols. At the moment, she is a senior researcher, and her main research area is wireless technologies operating in unlicensed spectrum, such as LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi, specifically aspects related to Physical layer design. For the past few years, Reem has represented Ericsson as a delegate to 3GPP standardization, where the technical specification for 3GPP technologies (such as LTE and 5G) are developed. Within her 6 years at Ericsson, Reem had filed 90+ patent applications, contributed to 4 journal and 3 conference papers. In 2019, she was the inventor of the year among Ericsson employees in Germany.

Helen Kardan is Manager Strategic Business Development at ASML based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. She studied in Japan and gained work experience in the States before settling down in the Netherlands. In addition to her work, she is an advocate for diversity and gender equality in the tech field.
