Martin talks to Kate Gannon from Manning & Co about her lightbulb moment, the inspiration and drive to become Chartered Financial Planner of the Year.
Kate works for Manning and Co in the South West where she heads up the Cornwall Office. She has been in the financial services profession since leaving school, starting in Banking and moving into Financial Advice as a Mortgage Advisor and then Financial Planner in the mid 1990’s. She lives in Cornwall with her Husband, two children and Great Dane. She has recently taken up a new hobby of Sailing and is desperately trying to find the work life balance to fit it into her schedule! She is an advocate of Lifestyle Planning and wants to encourage more of the younger generation into the Financial Services Profession to bring new perspectives and life into the future of Financial Services.
