Atty. Sheri Hoidra received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law (UB Law) in 2012, and her B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland and is federally licensed by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

She currently serves as the Co Editor-in-Chief of the Trial Reporter, the premier journal of the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc. (MAJ) and is on MAJ’s Board of Governors. She is an active member of the Immigration Council of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA), and has recently been nominated to serve on MSBA’s Board of Governors as well. Sheri reviews ethical standards for attorneys practicing in Maryland on the Peer Review Committee. She is also a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation.

Prior to forming her law practice, Sheri interned for the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Baltimore, MD, writing motions and appeals, and successfully arguing cases before Immigration Judges. She also worked for the Immigrant Rights Clinic at UB Law and as a law clerk for the Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore County.

Her areas of practice include: Family Law, Criminal Law cases originating in MD District Courts, DUI/DWI defense, auto accident litigation, and will preparation. She practices immigration law at a national level, which is her lifelong passion. As an Iranian-American immigrant whose parents escaped the aftermath of the Iranian Revolution and sought asylum in the United States, Sheri is familiar with the difficulties involved in obtaining status in this country and truly sympathizes with her clients.

Alexandra Stephanie Audate is the owner and managing attorney at Alexandra Stephanie Audate, PA. After years working at Catholic Legal Services, she decided to go into private practices and focused her practice on providing representation to queer and trans immigrants; and to immigrants struggling with serious illnesses. As your QueerMigration Lawyer, she has dedicated her life to advocating for LGBTQ+ immigrants in and out of the courtroom. She comes to this office with over four years of experience representing immigrant clients in Federal and State Court.

She is a proud member of the Black Lives Matter Alliance of Broward and the lead person for their Repeal Stand Your Ground – Florida Committee. Atty. Audate also sits on the Board of Directors of the Haitian Lawyers Association.

On her spare time, Alexandra enjoys painting, traveling and reading books about history and Black Feminism. She is fluent in English, French, Creole and Spanish.

Patricia Elizee is a managing partner of Elizee Law Firm, P.A., a firm dedicated to serving its clients and the community.

Ms. Elizee is a former president of the Haitian Lawyers Association. In 2016, she was voted valedictorian of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce’s first top 20 under 40 class and currently serves as a board member of the Chamber. In 2018, Ms. Elizee was voted Vice Chair of the Chamber’s executive board.

She was appointed to the Hispanic Advisory Board of Miami Dade County by Commissioner Jean Monestime. Ms. Elizee is also a graduate of the prestigious Florida Bar Leadership Academy. She currently serves as the chair of the Immigration Committee of the Dade County Bar Association.

In 2017 the Miami Herald chose Ms. Elizee to partake in their CEO Round-table series, where leaders in the business community are asked to answer business questions for their leaders.

Atty. Nadine Gedeon is a partner at Gedeon and Morales Law Group. Born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Mrs. Gedeon obtained her first law degree from Université Quisqueya in Haiti. She worked for the Haitian Red Cross for six years then went on to work as a legal officer at the Haitian Red Cross before she came to the United States.

In May 2014, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she also graduated Magna Cum Laude.

She is active in different non-profit organizations that provide pro bono legal services such as Lawyers to the Rescue, VIDA, and Americans for Immigrant Justice.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Haitian Lawyers Association.

Laurore B. Jean Pierre. Esq. is both a licensed financial advisor and Florida licensed attorney. She has worked in the financial field for nearly 10 years.

While unconventional, she worked full time in the financial field while attending law school, graduating with honors (Cum Laude) from FAMU College of Law.

Atty. Jean-Pierre has a true passion for finance and understanding of the true freedom that comes with having control over your  finances. She has implemented that drive and discipline graduating law school without any loans or scholarship, but following a detailed financial plan.

She currently holds securities and financial licenses series 7, 63 and 66. Additionally, she is currently on track to earning her CFP.
