Before becoming a mom we know it will be challenging but we're pretty confident we can do this. It can't be that bad. We can raise good kids that are well behaved... Then we become a mom and as time goes we realize it's way harder than we expected. There's a whole journey that happens as you transform into the motherhood role and the personal growth it requires you to do. The fact that being a mom is so hard is something I work on to make easier whenever possible. But there's just a certain level of hardness no matter what. Gentle parenting is a buzz word with a lot of connotations. Hopefully you've learned it's not gentle in the way of being easy and passive, but incredibly intentional and intuitive for better outcomes that include more empathy and understanding with our kids.
Thankfully we have people like Peter James who have connected the dots to see how it really is rooted in the way God loves us and parents us. It's incredible to see the methods taught today show up in Bible times of how God interacted with his people.
Don't miss the methods shared today in how to really connect with God in our parenting so that we show our kids more than a checklist of rules. Learn how we build connection with God. And of course the practical takeaway thats easy to remember and implement in the day to day.About Peter James:Peter Daniel James is a father of four who discovered a need in the Christian parenting world for a book that bridges the gap between 30,000 ft. principles and daily application. It helps parents discover their own solutions to their own unique parenting challenges, using frameworks, questionnaires, and other tools.Connect with Peter:https://gracecentered.life
