Nachdem im ersten Teil des Podcasts ein Höressay über schwäbischen Kartoffelsalat bereits das Dreieck »Klang – Wissen – Fiktion« abgezeichnet hat, wird es in Teil 2 nun mit einem Gespräch zwischen Friedemann und Áron Birtalan weiter mit Inhalt gefüllt. Áron und Friedemann sprechen über ein Thema, das beide viel beschäftigt: World Building — insbesondere auch: Was kann »Sonic World Building« sein? Wie können wir uns eine bessere Welt (akustisch) vorstellen?
Áron Birtalan ist Künstler:in und Musiker:in. Zu Árons Arbeit gehören angeleitete Spiele, mystische Praktiken, Musikveröffentlichungen, widerspenstiges Gedankengut und Publikationen. Áron interessiert sich für eine Arbeitsweise, die wie ein Interface funktioniert, und durch welche sich intime Beziehungen mit dem Unbekannten entwickeln können.
Áron hat am Königlichen Konservatorium in Den Haag und an der DAS Graduate School in Amsterdam studiert, und ist aktuell PhD Kandidat_in in Choreografie an der Universität der Künste in Stockholm mit dem Rechercheprojekt »Your Bones Hold the Shape of What's to Come«.
Friedemann Dupelius arbeitet mit Klang und Sprache und bezeichnet seine Profession als Sonic Author. Er studierte in Karlsruhe an der Hochschule für Musik und an der Hochschule für Gestaltung, sowie Sound Studies an der Universität in Köln.
Als Friday Dunard produziert Friedemann Dupelius genre-übergreifende elektronische Musik, die er veröffentlicht, live aufführt oder in DJ-Sets mischt. Unter dem Pseudonym Wednesday Dupont kreiert er Hörspiele, Radiostücke, Klangforschung, digitale und akustische Texte für Radio, Festivals und Internet.

After a radio essay about Swabian potato salad in the first part of the podcast has already drawn the triangle »sound – knowledge – fiction«, it is now further filled with content in part 2 with a conversation between Friedemann and Áron Birtalan. Áron and Friedemann talk about a topic that occupies both of them a lot: World Building – in particular also: what can »Sonic World Building« be? How can we imagine a better world (sonically)?
Áron Birtalan is an artist, musician and a student of theology, whose work explores languages of pleasure and anguish between angel, creature and computer.
Working together with participants and their imagination as an artistic medium, Áron creates guided games, mystical practices, musical releases, unruly thoughts and publications. They are interested in a practice that acts as an interface through which intimate relationships with the unknowable may unfold.
They received their education at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, the DAS Graduate School in Amsterdam and are currently a PhD candidate in Choreography at Stockholm University of the Arts with their research project ›Your Bones Hold the Shape of What's to Come‹.
