Sassy Art Major had a chance to join me on the podcast. We talked about her original character Molly. She has been developing her story and supporting characters for a while now. It is cool that she is not rushing it and she is making sure her comic is well crafted. I got to know a little more about her as an artist and a person. We also found out that her grandparents are from Chihuahua Mexico which is where I am from so that was a fun fact. Glenda joined me on the podcast for some sketching and conversations. She brought some of her pieces and sketchbooks which are amazing! I got to know a little more about her creative process. I am happy Sept had some time to join me on the podcast. I met him back in 2015. He did a mural next to mine. He had a more difficult wall, it had a lot of windows and fixtures that made it a bit more tedious. We talked about how he overcame those obstacles on the wall. I thought about this during our conversation during this podcast as we sketched together. One of the things I noticed immediately about Sept’s artwork is the clean line work and the use of space along with line weight. I also noticed that he keeps his black very clean.
