We know your time is valuable, so with each episode we hope to deliver a concise, focused podcast that will get you to go listen to the project we discussed. We hope that maybe we teach you something along the way as well. Our goal is to put you on to something you may have missed or would have never listened to.

The Rap Takes Podcast is back! After a few weeks of break the crew is here to discuss Schoolboy Q's seminal 2012 album, Habits & Contradictions. This project helped cement Q as one of the true gangster rappers in hip-hop right now and gave further name recognition to Top Dawg Entertainment after Kendrick Lamar's Section.80 project the year before.
With a new CD coming Friday from Schoolboy, we wanted to revisit Habits for some insight as to what this new project will sound like.
