What is RDA? RDA: Resource Description and Access is a new cataloging code that is the successor to Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, 2nd edition (AACR2). RDA goes beyond earlier cataloging codes in that it provides guidelines on cataloging digital resources and places a stronger emphasis on helping users find, identify, select, and obtain the information they want. The Library of Congress offers these resources to teach you more about the history and development of RDA and to help you in your own implementation decision.
