-canada’s plummets from 5th to 33rd in global Quality of Life ranking, you see its not just me, its actually measurably getting much worse.

-foreign students whos student visas expired are not being asked to leave, they are rallying to fight to stay.

-average size home in canada in 

1950 was 983

1970 was 1500

1990 was 2080

2004 was 2349

2009 was 2700

-many young developers who were able to raise a lot of capital now with many projects, no construction yet and needing to sell soon if not already.

-we have already had the crash, ive been saying this for a long time, are we going to have another crash ontop of the last one?

-I am seeing many instances of companies in development / construction laying people off. Either they’ve already done it or they’re about to. Sadly, we should expect this to continue.

-”I am noticing a significant uptick in defaults and general economic hardship at my office over these past two months.  People are hurting out there.”

-discuss the fundamental flaws in the current system that will need to change as the market heads in a new direction. The days of quick sales over the weekend to dumb investors is likely over even when interest rates come down. The demand is from end users and the product mix will have to adjust to that. Financing restrictions will have to change to accommodate, building techniques will have to improve and speed up. Few end users can wait years for their homes to be built.
