Being part of a majority yet marginalized group at U of T is complicated. Three Chinese students from different backgrounds discuss differences between domestic and international Chinese students and how some people still assume the thousands of us here are just iterations of the same person — we’re not, lol.

It can suck being at a ‘legacy’ institution that has excluded and can continue to be hostile toward marginalized groups. We discuss how the physical spaces and academia on campus can get pretty gross, pretty fast.

This is a huge conversation affecting tons of communities differently!
