Snowcrest Rider’s of Gravenhurst are hosting their annual Pancake Breakfast. It begins at 10:00 at the Walkers Point Community Centre on Walkers Point Road. All you can eat Pancakes, Sausages and hot beverages. Cost is 8$ per person.
Algonquin S.C’s annual Chili Cook Off is being held at the Warm Up Shelter on the 101B trail – Call Sue Grant at ( 705) 635-2241 to enter your Chili.
The Orillia Snowmobile Club is hosting a ride for Literacy. Jarett Hall which is Line 10 and Horseshoe Valley Road, at 11:00 go to www.sledorillia.com

Paul asks….What is freestyle Riding?
Jeff Explains that freestyle riding as Professional riders doing different sort tricks and maneuvers off of an engineered ramp. Jeff says he has done some of this riding before. Jeff says he got into snowmobiling due to his drive to explore nature and what it has to offer and going where no one else has gone before.
Paul Asks what Free Riding is?
Jeff says free riding is riding without boundaries and exploring where no one has gone before without being on track or trail. What is the Proper place to go Free Riding? Jeff Explains that there is thousands of KM of Crown land available for freeriding. Jeff says to be responsible and not to ride on private property without permission. Paul Asks what is the best sled for off trail? Jeff says that the Snowmobile industry has helped us riders find the perfect sled for our needs. There are Crossovers models for riders that like to ride on and off trail. Some people Prefer a trail sled like an Ski Doo MXZ while others like riding a Mountain sled like a Ski Doo Summit. Paul says that he was in the Abitibi Canyon and got stuck pretty good with his short track sled. Dave says he was up in the Abitibi canyon and Bill Was his tour guide. Bill Explains that he offers a trip to James Bay where you Start in Cochrane then to the Abitibi Canyon for gas then the Abitibi river leading to Moosonee and on to J[...]
