On February 16, 2022, 33-year-old Jared Bridegan was gunned down while his two-year-old daughter watched in horror from the backseat of their car. Jared and his ex-wife, Shanna Gardner, heiress to the Stampin’ Up fortune, had gone through a long and brutal custody battle but they had both recently remarried. The attack was brutal and well-planned. Jared’s murder went unsolved for a year until three shocking arrests were made, including Jared’s ex-wife and new husband.

Shanti Cooper fell in love with David Tronnes after meeting in 2013 on Match.com. After a whirlwind romance, David and Shanti moved in together. First into a rented house and later into a beautiful, historic home in Orlando, Florida that David had purchased. A major home renovation ensued but countless delays resulted in the couple being displaced from their home for over 2 years.  An opportunity to appear on the show “Zombie House Flipping” surfaced. David saw this as a chance to finish their home renovation. But just as things were looking up for the couple, Shanti was found dead in their small apartment on April 24, 2018. David claimed a slip-and-fall accident must have caused her death but the crime scene told a different story.

In this bonus episode, we discuss the recent news about the death of 30 year old Mica Miller from South Carolina. Mica was estranged from her controversial pastor husband, John-Paul Miller, and had recently filed for divorce. John-Paul Miller bizarrely announced his wife’s death after delivering a sermon to his congregation, claiming that she died by suicide and commenting on her mental health issues. Mica’s friends and family don’t believe that Mica died by suicide, and several have commented about her struggle to separate from both her husband and his church.
