A Nice Break From Typical Sports Talk
Just listened to the 2022 Season icebreaker episode. Nice to hear a sports show that isn’t constructed entirely poorly thought-out hot takes to generate cheap heat. The Riders focus is a huge plus. The beer reviews are suspect, though…but chacun a son gout. Looking forward to following the show through the season. Well worth a follow.

They laugh at their own jokes a lot, and it usually takes 10-12 minutes to finally start talking football other than what they did on the weekend. I just fast forward.
Embrace the dumb!
John and Joel do a good job of discussing CFL news without taking things (or themselves) too seriously. They typically have a fresh perspective in comparison to other media.
