Do things that are in alignment with you. Give yourself permission to do what you love. Mistake 1:  Not filing as an LLC or corporation. Mistake 2: Doing business without a contract. Mistake 3: Not doing a trademark and protecting your brand name. Contracts are a guide book for you and the other party. Don’t create an LLC if it’s only a hobby. We need to normalize that contracts are the way we do business. Three first steps to starting a business: 1. Go to government website and search to make sure that your name isn’t already in use or registered 2. Always get a contract in place 3.
