    46. Building a Juicy Brand With Monique Bryan

    Hey you wild women!
My next guest has a BA in fashion design, three startups under her belt (so she knows a bit about entrepreneur life), and has developed programming in partnership with companies throughout Asia and exciting global brands like PayPal, Burberry, and Toms Shoes.
Bringing over 15 years of top-level industry experience in the areas of product development, fashion, branding, business development, and personal styling today, Monique Bryan runs a brand consultancy showing business owners how to use their personal brand as a visual communication power tool. Monique shows women how to clarify their messaging, build their unique brand personality, and up-level their style profile so they can amplify their credibility in their industry.
She is a breast cancer survivor and has grown an engaged community of over 15,000+ people on social media, while in remission. She speaks on international stages and has been featured on Global television, in Entrepreneur magazine, Bustle, She Does The City, and others.
In this episode you will learn about:
Knowing your worth as a business owner and what to charge for your value.     Why you should stop waiting for your product or service to be “perfect”.     Monique’s biggest mistake in business and how she would have avoided it looking back.     How being in your zone benefits your business and your personal life.     How Monique started her business and what drew her to personal branding.     Discovering your own personal brand.     What role social media plays in marketing and branding.     How to decide what to keep private on your business social media.     Why powerful visuals are important to branding.     Why you should Google yourself, and how you can use this strategy to help you curate your personal brand.     How hiding is costing you money.     Why doing the work is so important, even if you don’t feel ready.     Increasing your bounce-back rate as a business owner.     Monique’s “a ha” moment during her cancer treatment, and how this inspired her business.     How the sense of urgency she felt during her cancer treatment transformed into Monique’s gift.     The power in the pause, and taking a break to allow for creative moments.     Functioning as an extrovert in a pandemic world.     Monique’s newly launched podcast called “The Juicy CEO” and what it’s all about. What it means to be a wild woman:
“Freedom. Freedom. Unapologetic Freedom. That’s exactly what that means to me. I’m just, like, untamable - do what you want, do it loud, do it for you. Everyone’s watching, and do it anyways. That’s what that means.” - Monique Bryan

    45. How To Use Storytelling To Build Your Brand With Tracy Hornik + Jessica Wright

    45. How To Use Storytelling To Build Your Brand With Tracy Hornik + Jessica Wright

    Hey you wild women!
Today I have a dynamic duo. These women share stories of successful women that inspire them. Their mission: To celebrate and elevate women by telling as many of their stories as possible.
Friends for well over 20 years, these ladies came together in 2018 to create She’s On Top, a company designed to inspire and encourage women to be part of the change that is necessary. They do this through an incredible YouTube channel, a membership site, sponsorships and an ambassador program.
Jessica - has been a passionate storyteller for over 30 years. In her 20's, she was a stand-up comedian. Hired as a writer for a YTV kids comedy show, she went on to accumulate over 18 years of experience in the television industry.
As a former executive producer and Gemini-nominated director, she has created, developed, written and produced award-winning factual entertainment, docu-soap, documentary, comedy, children’s live action and animated programs, as well as shorts and commercials for Canada and the U.S.
Tracy -  started her career as a lawyer and after several years of practicing, moved on to run one of the most successful wholesale gift companies in Canada.
After raising her young family, she started a photography business and from there went on to make documentary films.
In this episode you will learn about:
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable - as an entrepreneur you never settle into a ‘comfortable’ state The importance of finding your niche Learning is a life-long process The importance of female relationships and having a support network The power of storytelling to you and your brand Powerful storytelling evokes emotion, which in turn creates connection Stories are memorable and relatable and so valuable to growing your brand ‘Your mess becomes your message’ - how to leverage your ‘mess’ and turn it into your message Why it’s important to have both a personal brand + a business brand Collaboration over competition - Communities can expand through cooperation Opportunities exist within crisis or times of hardship The importance of being agile in your business in order to pivot when the market demands  You don’t need to know everything right away - you only need to be one chapter ahead than the rest Your awareness affects your perception and doesn’t always reflect reality You will attract your community through your unique value What it means to be a wild woman:
“Being willing to try anything and put yourself out there – see how it goes and believe in the journey. I’m wild because I’m just going to do it.” - Tracy
“Taking the road less traveled - not always following the easiest path but the path that’s true to your heart.” - Jessica

    44. Manifesting your Most Abundant Life with Christine Michelle

    44. Manifesting your Most Abundant Life with Christine Michelle

    Hey you wild women!
Christine Michelle is the Founder and CEO of The Aligned Soul by Ana-Hob Personal Development Brand and author of The Aligned Receiver.
Known as The Vibration Lifter and Energy Shifter, Christine is a Frequency Alchemizer who helps you shift your frequency and elevate your consciousness to new levels.
Lover of the Woo (spiritual) + the Do (practical), Christine left her successful Corporate Executive career to step into her Soul’s Calling.
Utilizing Human Design, Quantum Physics, NLP, EFT, Gene Keys and a ton of other modalities made her own, Christine Michelle is an Energy Healer, Seer and a Channel who allows Guidance to flow through her and speak directly to your mind and your soul.
Christine helps you to tune into your own wholeness and welcome you home to who you truly are.  She makes Quantum Leaps #normal. Intentional Manifestation gets to be easy.
In this episode you will learn about:
How holding space for others can positively shift energy. The Universe is your sugar daddy - it’s always giving.  You are creating resistance and are stopping the flow of the universe’s abundance. You are taught to put expenses first but paying yourself first can be a better approach. Paying yourself first can also mean buying back your time and investing in yourself. Alignment is when your soul and your body and your mind are all working as one towards a goal or direction.  True alignment comes from being in the frequency of being aligned with what you truly love and everything is working together to propel you towards those goals. Manifestation is just intentional receiving - everything in your life is the frequency that you are aligned with. Things are already available to you - you just have to be aligned with receiving them.  If you can get clarity on your goals and why you want those things and give that to yourself right now, that’s when you are aligning with that frequency and that’s when your goals start to unfold into your life.  Give this to yourself now, be that energy now. You don’t have to wait for your circumstances to match your energy.  Once you lock in your frequency, possibilities are endless. Top 3 tips to becoming more aligned: 1) Accept that ‘it is what it is’ - don’t resist or force current circumstance. 2) Get out of your head and into your body. Trust your body compass and your feelings to feel more grounded and less anxious. 3) Tune into your heart and make choices that are aligned with your body from a place of groundedness. You don’t make good choices when your body is anxious and worried.  What it means to be a wild woman:
Being a wild woman means being completely yourself and accepting all of your mess and your blessings. It’s being completely free to say what you want to say and show up as you want to show up. It’s accepting yourself knowing that you are perfect and worthy exactly as you are.

    43. Becoming a Fashion Icon with Catherine Addai

    43. Becoming a Fashion Icon with Catherine Addai

    Hey you wild women!
My next guest resigned from her corporate career in 2017 to focus on her impressive clothing line Kaela Kay. Her brand quickly evolved with a distinct identity, recognition of culture and customer loyalty. And the designs and prints are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen!!
With a focus on her Ghanaian roots, she emphasizes the beauty in the prints and colors that come from and represent Africa through the Ankara (an-car-a) textiles.  Of course not ignoring her North American upbringing, her designs are feminine, classic and classy.  She wants all women to identify their personal style in their fabulous size. For this reason Kaela Kay stocks up to size US22 and will custom design for any fabulous size.
Kaela Kay clothing is produced in Toronto, Canada by local seamstresses.  This allows her to work closely with the seamstresses to create well-made and well-fitting styles.  These wonderful women are self-regulated, creative and hard-working and are able to cultivate the artistic and work-life balance lives that they desire.
As a mom to 3 beautiful beings, she strives to build a company that they too will grow to be proud of.
In this episode you will learn about:
“If you build it they will come.“ Best advice; collaborate and barter as much as possible especially when first starting out. Free fashion shows, give out free samples... Two business mistakes: 1 - purchased too much fabric from beyond overstock and it just sat there - did not sell well. 2 - The partner she worked with didn’t fit well and she knew it wasn’t going to go well.  Stand in your ground. Fashion creative block: she goes back to her business plan and where she can find the motivation to keep the business going -- looking at her why. Connections through photographers and models.  Consistency and organization are needed to be a leader at home and in the office. Tips for someone looking to start on their own: 1. Make sure you have a customer framework (ideal customer), 2. Write down your why, 3. Research other brands that you admire and read their stories. 4. Log off at 5 pm -- set boundaries.  A good business takes time to grow, years if not decades sometimes. It takes time to find a balance between work and business. What it means to be a wild woman:
“To be able to think the most out of the box ideas you can dream of and have the audacity to go after it, and then have the energy and smarts to keep it going.”

Alli Elmunzer is an attorney, entrepreneur, and podcast host, whose mission is to legally empower entrepreneurs to protect their businesses so they can confidently grow them.
As a driven attorney and entrepreneur who has grown multiple businesses over the past 14 years, she's successfully navigated the unpredictable world of law and entrepreneurship.
She started her first company in 2009 while working as an attorney. Alli is passionate about helping entrepreneurs build successful and legally protected businesses.  She does that through her podcast, the Inspired Entrepreneur, as well as on her blog, and through Instagram where she hosts a community of almost 10K followers.
In this episode you will learn about:
“If you can dream it, you can do it” Walt Disney Not knowing where to start is a common rookie problem There are other ways of doing business. You don't have to do what everyone else is doing. Do things that are in alignment with you. Give yourself permission to do what you love. Mistake 1:  Not filing as an LLC or corporation. Mistake 2: Doing business without a contract. Mistake 3: Not doing a trademark and protecting your brand name. Contracts are a guide book for you and the other party. Don’t create an LLC if it’s only a hobby. We need to normalize that contracts are the way we do business. Three first steps to starting a business: 1. Go to government website and search to make sure that your name isn’t already in use or registered 2. Always get a contract in place 3. Your website must have a privacy policy as it is required in the USA. Block time to be productive: client blocks, content blocks, CEO blocks, learning block. Public Shoutouts:

    41. Why You Must Always Look For The Silver Lining with Diani Blanco

    41. Why You Must Always Look For The Silver Lining with Diani Blanco

    Hey you wild women!
Diani Blanco is a renowned inspirational speaker, an advocate against dating abuse as well as the CEO and founder of Infyno (infeeno) Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to help teenage girls in high schools across Canada suffering from domestic and sexual abuse in young dating relationships.
In the early stages of the pandemic lockdown, Diani started to hear more and more from single parents who found themselves in situations where no organization could provide timely help. Grocery stores allowed only one adult to come to the shop, little kids couldn't be left unattended, deliveries took long times because of the sudden demand, and they ran out of milk, diapers, or other basic needs, and this was a constant struggle.
Diani decided it was time to make sure no family was left behind. "It takes a tribe," she says. Partnering with her good friend, they turned the sporadic help given on a personal basis to a growing community called Queens of Heart.
Diani has helped numerous families, personally running from house to house to deliver food boxes and other basic items, donated by the members of the group, as well as local organizations that discovered the new initiative and decided to pitch in.
In this episode, you will learn about:
Everything happens for a reason. Why being yourself is the best advice. She was graced with feelings of cold & hot right before she wanted to jump off a bridge. It was a sign to keep holding on. She didn’t know what love was supposed to be. How she worked her hardest to give her kids the bunkbed they always wanted. And she got it despite all odds. You need a no excuse mindset. She knew she needed to give back. Queens of Heart is like her third baby; keeps her up at night, but provides so much joy! What it means to be a wild woman:
