I like the dog! Most of the time!

I started with Pivot podcast and decided to try Prof G because I find a lot of what Scott says quite thoughtful and interesting and sometimes funny. Except that time he counselled young men to plan to take care of their families financially instead of counselling young people to advocate for things like universal childcare which would do way more for equity. Affordable childcare opens up so many opportunities for young people to get ahead while still producing regular flow of future taxpayers to pay for all the good stuff like healthcare, education and infrastructure. Both men and women should have equal opportunity to provide for their families.

Boo Vox! Boo three pods that used to be one.

The Prof G show worked because of the variety. Monologue, interview, office hours, algebra of happiness. The format gave pace; made sure you don’t get bogged down into having too much Scott. This new model of three pods doesn’t work. It’s too much Scott. The vox decision also smacks of “maximizing shareholder returns” intentions - which feels at odd with the ethos of the pod which got us hooked in the first place.

Only Prof G gets the big name on !

Ray Dalio and The 2rd interview with Michael Saylor doesn’t get better then that ! Love it
