Cancer
This week, Mike and I discuss cancer care. The best takeaway from this talk: sometimes patients can disappear into a "cancer blackhole" when they're diagnosed, where they're busy with specialist appointment after specialist appointment. Consider pre-booking appointments with these patients at regular intervals to help them navigate the process, discuss any issues that might pop up (don't forget, depression is very common), and remember: their non-cancer health continues - they still need ongoing preventative screening for other conditions!

Great content
These are awesome to listen to while in the car, on a walk, or when you just can’t stare at a book or computer for one more second without your brain exploding. Really great information. Dr. Kirlew has some phrases he repeats often which can get a bit annoying eg “you know what I mean and stuff” “does that make sense” “perfect, perfect” “smart is the new sexy” but I can tolerate it due to the excellent content.
I Can’t Even
Trying my best to listen to the Deep Vein Thrombosis episode, but this is truly the most annoying podcast that I have ever heard. Dr. Bouchard seems great, but the other guy is just killing me. Thanks anyway.
Amazing Content
One of the best podcasts for reviewing medical conditions. Like other people have mentioned, the banter is questionable at times, but out of the many other review podcasts I've listened to, this is the only one I've felt the need to write a great review for. Hopefully they come back and make new episodes!!
