This is a platform for me to share thoughts on A Course in Miracles. I've been a student for 27 years and Dr. Ken Wapnick was my teacher. The world we seem to live in is a shadow world and that shadow is cast on the wall of the mind. ACIM answers questions about what gave rise to the world, what perpetuates the world, and how to awaken from it.

ACIM: A Context for Experience
The Truth does not depend on illusions. In order to feel the mercy and beauty of the Course, do not use anything that you believe you perceive to operate as a block to the awareness of Heaven. Defenses only seem to work because we want them to work. There is no need to dream of an escape from dreaming. As the Course states "...escape depends, not on the dream, but only on awakening."

As Workbook Lesson 182 states: "You have not lost your innocence. It is for this you yearn. This is your heart's desire. This is the voice you hear, and this the call which cannot be denied."
We cannot want the false innocence of the "face of innocence" - the innocence that proclaims another is guilty. We look at that face in order to look beyond it and stop deceiving ourselves. Nothing outside of us can bring happiness and Peace to us, but there is nothing outside of us. The Truth is all there is and everything else is our own nightmare. -
