Thank You for Your Faithful Ministry

To the Revive Our Hearts team - thank you so much for your obedience to Christ in creating these podcasts. I cannot even begin to tell you how meaningful this ministry has been to me and my mother. My mom is in Japan and so desperately wants other Japanese ladies to hear these messages. I pray and hope that someday this will be available in the Japanese language as well. The Lord is doing an amazing work in women across the globe in part because of your faithfulness in teaching the truth. May the Lord continue to raise up women who speak and teach His truth from the Scriptures. Words cannot properly express what this podcast has meant to me. Much love and blessings.

So thankful for this ministry

The Lord led me to this ministry while He was pursuing me towards salvation. I had a strong desire to be a Christian all my life; and when I was in university, I found this ministry while searching "women's ministry" on Google. I was drawn to the holiness of Nancy's messages and material and learnt a lot about what a godly life of a woman looked like.

I thought I was a Christian that entire time, because I had "accepted Christ" earlier at an evanglical meeting at a church one Sunday. However, it wasn't until more than 9 years later, that the Lord finally revealed to me that Jesus was a historical person who walked on this earth 2000 years ago. I was attended a much healthier church at that point and questioned my pastor one day if I was saved if I never realized Jesus was a real person in history, and I had only actually been recently convicted of my sins.

He went through 1 Corinthians 15 with me, where Paul wrote my faith was in vain, futile, and I'm even misrepresenting God if I don't believe Jesus came to this earth, died for my sins, and resurrected! At that point, with the illumination of the Holy Spirit, I knew that I didn't believe that - and from that moment I regave my life to Jesus - this REAL Jesus person who existed in history, and is most indeedly alive now!

FIve months later, I was rebaptized in front of the new body of Christ the Lord had brought me to, where solid and sound teaching was present, which was how I ultimately realized the historicity of Jesus and the Bible.

But I would not have recognized sound, conservative teaching of the Bible, if I wasn't exposed to the ministry of Revive Our Hearts. This is where I developed my conservative convictions and views of Christian living. TIm Challies also happened to be one of the pastors of our mother church who planted us, and I knew he was somewhat within the circle of ministry as Nancy - so I took that as a sign from God that I was at a healthy church. The Lord also used Lindsey Wagstaffe (now Lee) to sit in front of me during my first service, who I recognized - and later confirmed - and since she used to be from Revive Our Hearts, it was another sign to me that I was in a sound church.

All because I knew Revive Our Hearts was a sound conduit of the Lord's teaching. Thus, from that I was able to be led to sound spiritual communities in Toronto where I could grow in my walk with the Lord in a local church.

Thank you, Nancy, for your ministry.
