    Look What She Got

It's a podcast within a podcast! The episode you're abut to hear is actually an episode of Thriving Solo by Jennifer Fields, who was kind enough to invite me (your host, Shani Silver, hi) on as a guest! In this episode we get into so, SO many tired and nonsensical narratives about single life that are ripe for reframing. This is a great listen and reminder as we celebrate the holiday season, and prepare for a new year ahead. Please check out lots more from Jennifer Fields and Thriving Solo he...

Single Is Not A Bad Word

*Please scroll down for VERY IMPORTANT INFO about the podcast in 2021Debra DiGiovanni, oh my god. This Canadian comedian and all around ray of light has been admired by your host since the release of her Netflix special, Single Award Female. Her warmth, authenticity, and of course humor are a welcome addition to the podcast this week, as we discuss the themes that have impacted us so much during this dumpster blaze of a year. Where's My Duct Tape?

Tiana Madera is the host of Torch, a personal development podcast about how we lead—both others AND ourselves. She's a remarkable voice to listen to if you're in a space of growth and self work, and it's a pleasure to have her on the podcast today. A quick Content Warning: Tiana and I both discuss body and weight as we've experienced anxieties and concerns around them, our experiences come from our perspectives as individuals, we're not giving prescriptive advice on body image, we are instead...

Jessica Lanyadoo is an astrologer, podcaster, writer, and co-founder of Zodiac the Vote. She's also one of your host's favorite voices in the astrology space, so pardon her while she fangirls. This episode is a discussion of astrology that's unlike what you're probably used to hearing on podcasts. We're not talking horoscopes, we're talking narratives, specifically the narratives we've picked up around astrology and singlehood. In exploring the origins of those narratives, we can get more cla...

Feel supported and relatable

Just started listening to this podcast and it is everything I need right now. I am 36, single for 5.5 years. Been on dating sites for so long and recently stopped it all. You hit the single female experience on the head and I feel so connected to your and your guests experiences, whereas I don’t get that amongst my mostly coupled up friend group.

Singlehood is not a disease that needs a cure!

Extremely smart conversations and a genuine host with an organic interviewing style make this podcast a gem! Shani Silver is doing what has long been overdue: reframing outdated concepts about being single.

Game Changer!

This is hands down my favorite podcast and something I look forward to listening to every Monday! I’ve been listening for over a year and has literally changed my life and my whole perspective on dating to be a positive one. I am now living my best single life and enjoying solidarity. I love that Shani speaks to a wide range of guests and speaks on topics based on what single women need. I recommend becoming a patreon to have access to weekly episodes and to the Facebook group. You feel supported and not alone. Very grateful I discovered this podcast. Thank you Shani!
