The unsinkable Edmonton Queen

Thanks for your interview with Darrin Haugen. I’ve been to his plays, been on his bus tour, and enjoyed his queer history walk in downtown Edmonton. Your podcast interview evoked a lot of great memories. Perfect in every way.

Loved it. Great guests, very thoughtful discussion.

First episode thoughts

The example given where people are asked to draw the quintessential Albertans: this is likely an artifact of branding. I am concerned that this wasn’t even discussed other than one of the guests bringing up the Alberta mythology (good point). Specifically the person who spoke of the “study” should feel responsible to discuss the limitations of such a “study.”
