154: AAH How to Care for Leopard Geckos w/ Morph-Related Issues | Jessica Fennen
Jessica Fennen is the content creator behind the YouTube channel, Jessica’s Animal Friends. Jessica runs a reptile sanctuary that's catered to reptiles with physical and/or neurological disorders. Jessica cares for 30+ leopard geckos, many with lifelong disabilities, most of which related to morph breeding. We discuss the leopard gecko morphs which cause the most issues (enigma, white & yellow, lemon frost, etc.) as well as how to successfully care for reptiles with disabilities. We cover the ethics of morph breeding and when euthanasia is appropriate. We wrap the episode up by discussing the challenges of caring for such a large number of animals.

153: AAH The BIZARRE Story of the World's Most Prolific ART THIEVES! | Snake Arts
Jennifer Cook of Snake Arts specializes in hyper-realistic snake and lizard sculptures. She is well known in the industry for producing stunning, life-like sculptures and uses her work to create appreciation, and promote conservation and education for the animals we love. She sculpted the beautiful door handles for both IguanaLand and The Chiricahua Desert Museum and her work has also been featured in many other museums across the globe. In this episode, Jennifer tells us about the process she uses to create such accurate pieces, including how she studies snake anatomy. The latter half of the podcast delves into the world of fraud and how major crime syndicates in Asia are counterfeiting artists' work, creating fake ads through Facebook and Instagram, and selling fake goods to unsuspecting purchasers. Jennifer discusses how this has impacted her work and why she has launched a class-action lawsuit against Facebook.

Customer Reviews
Top notch
Best reptile podcast out there!
Great podcast
This podcast is great- I think the best reptile one out there. I love how the focus is improving husbandry and conservation. It has definitely leveled up the habitats I create for my group! I know they all appreciate that I listen to it!!
What an incredible insight into the forefront of reptile research
This podcast is incredibly informative and useful for any reptile keeper, the subject material is broad and relevant and the host very clearly concerns himself with improving the care of his animals. The information and perspectives shared in the episodes has helped me improve and think more critically about the kind of environment and life that I want to offer my own reptile. Highly recommended!
