Art Grind is a podcast for and about artists, art lovers and art professionals. It is a social practice of giving back to the art community of which we are a part and explores the process, content, concept and motivation behind art making of both established and emerging artists and the people who bring that art to a wider audience. We are artists ourselves and wear many hats, including curation, art writing and art teaching. We share a passion for authentic and skilled art making, be it trained or self-taught. Whether in the studio, on your lunch hour or chilling out after a long day of hustle, have a listen while we explore, along with our guests, the backstories of what we fondly call “the art grind”.

Rosemary Leach ,

THANK. GOD.

These interviewers cut through all the posturing of ‘The Art World’.
Dina and Marshall say things that speak to my 30 full time years in the studio, and leave me feeling relieved that I’m not alone in this crazy vocation. They are personal and kind so you respect them for their honesty, and then they have the courage to say out loud the insightful twist that is true to one’s inner experience, but is never said aloud.
And they don’t waste any of your time with promo.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

About Artists and their Art

I must say this is the art podcast I listen to most!
I have discovered this new treasure of artists and have learned so much from you and your guests. I have been inspired by artists such as Tim Lowly, Sam Adoquei, Alex Kanevski & Hollis Heichner,
Philippe Pearlstein, Zoey Frank and many others.
You have become my new Studio friends!
Always looking forward to new episodes.

Thank you!

Shub the hub ,

Grateful for this podcast

There is nothing better than listening to this podcast while mixing new strings of paint. Thanks for the variety of guests, I am often taking notes and love being introduced to incredibly talented artists I had yet to come across. The Art Grind Podcast is company for the solitary artist and encouragement to keep at the grind. Thanks for all that you do!
