    Dr. Melissa Satterberg, PhD, LMFT, ATR-BC was part of the first cohort of Notre Dame de Namur University's PhD Art Therapy program. Dr. Satterberg noticed a large gap in her art therapy training around issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community. In this interview, she shares about the Kaleidoscope art therapy curriculum that she developed in response to this gap. She also reflects on her work as a supervisor, educator and art therapist and she shares her views on "telling folks what we do" as art therapists as we are often, the only art therapists within a team of other clinicians. We also got to pick her brain on how she keeps art therapy alive and present in community.
