BANDANA BLUES invites you on a musical journey every week for about an hour and a half of 21st Century Blues with a nod to The Masters.
Beardo (from Philly, USA) started with the Bandana Blues shows doing them live on the internet in the late 1990's and was soon joined by his long-time friend Spinner (from The Hague, NL). Soon after the turn of the century Bandana Blues became a weekly podcast. Beardo & Spinner have produced the shows together for almost 15 years. After the sad and suddden demise of Beardo in 2017, Spinner continued the labor of love on his own.

Simply the Best
Have been listening to this show for well over twelve years. The undeniable best part of my week, it has been with me through some rough times, as well as the good. Always an incredible mix, I love that it has challenged me in how I think about the blues by constantly finding new artists and sounds. With that said, it wouldn’t be Bandana Blues without the hosts. I dearly miss Beardo, but Spinner has done an awe inspiring job of keeping this show running after such a tragic loss. In a way he has found his own voice and style I have found since 2017 that has both changed the show, but kept it still feeling familiar and what I feel in love with years ago. Keep up the incredible work and to anyone reading, become a listener! Thank you so very much!
Blues Music For Blues Music Lovers
The Bandana Blues podcast is a great show for people who really love the blues. Beardo is one of two men who host the show and Spinner is the other. Beardo is a no-BS kind of guy who gives the show a "little rough around the edges" feel to the show. Listeners get the impression he's always ticked-off at one thing or another.
Spinner on the other hand is the consummate blues gentleman who provides no commentary. Always classy blues tunes that usually contain harmonica and originate in somewhere in Europe - mostly Dutch bands.
