Helen Betty Osbourne

From Canada. Thanks for doing the Helen Betty Osborne case. Canada’s missing murdered indigenous problem needs to be part of the massive wake up call that true crime podcasts are bringing to the world.

Appropriation

Your coverage of what happened to Janet Moses and her loved ones is extremely ethnocentric and disrespectful. Indigenous peoples are not objects of entertainment. You ought to have a family’s permission before you tell stories of them. Māori peoples have a rich and powerful culture, and imperialist viewpoints such as yours cannot take that away, but it sure ain’t helping anyone!

Voice Coach

Well-written podcast with an appealing host. She has a great voice, but VERY strong uptalk. Unfortunately, I think it will negatively impact listeners perception of her.
