Sensei Zen shares how samurai teachings are less about fighting and more about keeping the peace. He introduces us to the powerful meditation practices that samurai use to center themselves, focusing on deep breathing and moving meditation. Together, we’ll try out these calming techniques and learn how they can help us control our emotions and find inner peace. We also dive into the meanings of two important Japanese characters—Iki (breathing) and Ki (energy)—and how they’re connected to finding peace and balance.
