The National HVACR Education Conference is typically a place for educators to gather to unite for the good of community and education. This year the conference had a fresh new aroma...the flavor of competitors joining forces to embrace a new era of education. Manufacturers that typically compete for sales showed up in groves to embrace change, encourage each other, and even share the stage to promote unity. Waves of change are upon us, and I like what I see.

Gen Z and Gen Alpha offer a tremendous opportunity for educators and contractors. They may look different than previous generations, but they have a LOT to offer! The pandemic and the ensuing “Great Resignation” meant shifts in culture and what these younger generations expected from jobs.
