Dr. Aaron Gaines: The soybean meal NE value conundrum | Ep. 108 The Swine Nutrition Blackbelt Podcast

    • Science

When it comes to establishing reliable net energy (NE) values for soybean meal in commercial swine growing and finishing diets, there’s new information emerging. Dr. Aaron Gaines joins us in this episode to discuss the significant difference in soybean meal NE values determined in academic facilities, with strict environmental controls, and those derived in commercial settings. We’ll discuss what’s driving the differences between environments and what the implications are for the industry.
