Ep 110- Why 3 Years Of Sobriety Hurts The Most The Art Of Tough Transitions Podcast

    • Society & Culture

I am now three years sober. Not only am I free from substances, but I am also a father to a six-year-old girl and the happiest I’ve been. I have learned that growth on this planet isn’t always going to feel good. Sobriety is an exploration of my fears, worries, and who I am underneath the surface. It’s where I stand in my truth and do not care what anyone else thinks. It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

In today's episode you'll listen to:

- How I started drinking and why it led to addiction

- Why my third year has been the most challenging

- A few poems I wrote about struggling with addiction
