Customer Reviews
Ugh...my ears hurt
I listen to a lot of podcasts, and the quality of this one is pretty meh. As an etsy seller, I wanted to find a podcast that I could listen to while working in my studio that would provide relevent info. I've listened to a few episodes and the hosts annoy me with their completely irrellevant off-topic drivel, and long pauses of dead air. I don't care about football, I'm here to learn about ETSY . The could easily have edited that stuff out since it's not live, but they are choosing to keep it in - WHY??. I'm surprised these guys are represently Marmalead - they don't seem to be taking their roles very seriously and are not representing the brand very well. It does not put a professional face on Marmalead, and lessens my image of the company.
The Hosts are Painful to Listen To
As an Etsy seller and always open to learning how to optimize on this platform, I begrudgingly listen to this podcast because I do find some good value in the information provided.
However, the hosts are, ahem TERRIBLE. Long pregnant pauses; inside jokes that likely few listeners understand; extraneous and disruptive background noises such as airplanes and a baby crying (to name a few), and general lack of organization make this podcast painfully hard to sit through.
Even though it's suppose to be a "jam session", the hosts need to make a more concerted effort in organizing what they are going to "jam" about and not stretch what can be said in usually half the time instead of dragging it out to an inch of the jam's life each episode.
Also, please use better words than just "awesome!" or "yeah" or "cool" when conversing with each other - again, these long awkward pauses make it painful to listen through.
Awkward pause....
Like many other reviewers, I agree that there is some great information here.... but man, you really need to edit out 50% of the chat and off-topic blather. Please tighten it up - I would like to listen, but it is WAY too long for what I get out of it.
