If we're being honest, life as usual is not the life we want. The same old thing is not enough. It will never be enough. Not enough in a way where you need more success, money or control. But, in a way where you realize that it's not too late and you're fully eligible to live out your unmet longings of adventure, mystery and a meaningful life. All you have to do is Find Your Way.
Ep. 15 - Tim McMorris - Finding What's True For You
I have to be honest, today’s episode is special to me.
Each week, I get to sit down and talk with some pretty amazing people doing amazing things in this world, but I haven’t yet had the chance to sit down with with anyone who stood along side me and who played a first hand role in my own transformational journey—meaning someone who was physically there with me.
As some of you might know, when I left the NFL, I moved to Canada where I did a deep dive into my own healing which transformed my life in the most unimaginable ways. Today’s guest, Tim McMorris, was one of the key people who played a pivotal role in my transformation. He created space for me, encouraged me, mentored me, and mirrored back to me things I just wasn’t able to see myself.
But, here’s the deal, Tim isn’t some pastor or life-coach. He’s actually an internationally recognized music producer, composer and recording artists. His music has been featured in marketing campaigns from some of the biggest brands around the world—brands like Toyota, Adidas, Subway and Samuel Adams.
And, I’m not just saying this because he’s a friend, but Tim’s music is some of the most life-giving music I’ve ever listened to. It’s impossible to listen to his music and not smile or feel something come alive inside of you. Don’t believe me? You can listen to a new song from his latest EP, Hope, called Promise Land, here.
Regardless if you’re a music fan or not, I promise you’ll get something out of this episode. Like so many other people who’ve accomplished their dreams or who are highly successful, Tim’s journey wasn’t linear and it definitely didn’t happen in a way that he expected it to happen. So, we dive deep into the journey of shifting your perspective while holding on to your dreams, overcoming adversity and most importantly, staying true to yourself.
So, if you’re somebody who has a dream in your heart and you’re facing some resistance, or you need a little encouragement, I promise you’ll walk away from this episode feeling more encouraged and inspired than you were before.

Ep 14. Steven Matthew Adams - You're More Than You Think You Are
Steven Matthew Adams is the author of On The Way, which is a practical guide to manifesting sustainable happiness in your life and also a well respected coach and workshop facilitator. But, most importantly, he’s just a damn good guy with a-lot of good things to say.
I loved our conversation for so many reasons, 1. Because it was basically a therapy session for me, haha, but also 2. Because Steven has a way of communicating and putting to words what so many of us feel, myself included, but don’t necessarily have the language for what we’re feeling.
On this episode, we talk about what it looks like to remove the pressure from trying to “do” something with your life to aligning yourself as a conduit so that the universe can work through you, and then we dive into a conversation around what it looks like to live life from your heart and your head.
Lastly, we end this conversation in a way, that honestly, left me in tears. I think we can all agree that so many of us are feeling lost in life these days, myself included, and Steven so beautifully creates the space that really helped me, and I think it will also help you, navigate this space of feeling lost.

Episode 11 - Breathwork, God and New Beginnings
Last week I had the chance to sit down and talk with Rob Starbuck. Rob is not only a friend of mine but he’s also a well known breathwork coach here in Los Angeles. We discuss it in the podcast, but I met Rob shortly after having my first panic attack shortly after moving to LA and his breathwork class forever marked my life. To give you a little more context, Rob discovered his passion for breathwork after playing college football at Georgetown University. Shortly after moving into a 9-5 post college job that left rob feeling frustrated as if he felt something was missing in his life, Rob felt called to leave his previous life behind, move to LA and adopt a healthier lifestyle. It was through this transition from Chicago, leaving his old life that no longer served him behind, that he found the power of breathwork that changed his life. Now, Rob is sharing this transformative practice with others around Los Angeles. Rob believes breathwork to be the most effective modality in achieving clarity, connecting with our higher selves and tapping into the deep pool of creative energy we all have access to. So, if you want to know more about breathwork, if you’re in that liminal space of letting go of the tried and true and waiting for the new, if you’re stepping away from a previous life and starting over, this episode is definitely for you. Also, if you live in the LA area, then I would HIGHLY encourage you to check out one of Rob’s breathwork classes at Sanctum LA. His classes are each Wednesday night at 6:30pm and on Sundays at 9am and 11am. You can also learn more at his website, here. Find Rob on Instagram, here.
