First to Die Tom & Jake

We'll be talking about the hits and misses of this 2007 sci-fi epic, including the incredible score, the overwhelming visuals, and of course an incredible First to Die.

A delayed podcast that can ONLY be blamed on Jake, this month we dive into Rian Johnson's modern day who-dunnit-hit Knives Out. 
Old sleepy Jake has a thing or two to say but it's Tom who brings you the juicy yummy goods this episode, so sit down, grab a cigar and listen closely...for we have eliminated no suspects!

Jake is back to his old tricks, picking films to pour his heart out over. Tom loves to pick holes, and hopefully everyone leaves feeling warm and fuzzy and ever, ever so British!

The name's Bond, James Bond. We finally get around to talking about the titular British spy, and for the season finale it's a first and worst to die in the Daniel Craig era kicked off so spectacularly with Casino Royale.
What better time to look back on an epic saga that at the end of the year, with many ranked countdowns, strong opinions, martini cocktails, and fantastic deaths. Cheers.

After a break we're back for the penultimate episode of season three, watching Tom Cruise run around a lot trying to prevent the future in Minority Report. 
Once again analysing Steven "Playmountain" Spielberg to the extreme and questioning the grime of both star and scenery, this is a fun ride for a movie that just turned 20 years old.

On this week's episode we un-enbiggenate ourselves down to the size of a dime to discuss the 1989 classic Honey, I Shrunk the Kids! There's so much to discuss for such a teenie weenie movie - including our huge love for Rick Moranis, practical sets and props, reckless parenting, yet another horrific creature death hidden in a family movie, and why we're still fascinated by shrinking people down in movies. 
So pull up a tiny sofa, grab a chunk of cookie and let's go!
