Fantastic celebration of classic and contemporary cinema
I eagerly look forward to each and every new FLIXWISE podcast, as hosts Lady P and Martin Kessler are clearly very cine-literate. Lady P is charming and hilarious while Kessler brings an encyclopedic knowledge to the table that is rare, especially among cinephiles under 30.
Highlights have been THE EXORCIST and 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (my two favourite films), along with all Hitchcock and Truffaut. Plus: STARSHIP TROOPERS. YES!
FLIXWISE ranks with Indiewire: Screen Talk, Wrong Reel, The Talkhouse Film Podcast and Marc Maron’s WTF for my personal favourites when it comes to film-related podcasts. Keep up the great work!
