    About the Narrator
    Tanja Babich anchors ABC 7 Chicago’s Eyewitness News in the Morning from 4:30AM until 7AM and again from 11AM until noon. Babich is the Canadian-born daughter to immigrant parents from Chile and Serbia, and came to the U.S. as a first-generation college student. She proudly spoke about her heritage and living the “American Dream” when she became a United States citizen in April 2013.
     
    Babich has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University in Government and a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Babich lives in Chicago with her husband and three daughters.

She is the author of New York Times bestseller Make Trouble. As President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund for 12 years, Richards worked to increase affordable access to reproductive health care and to build a healthier and safer world for women and young people.
