In 2007, a serial killer inspired by Rube Goldberg murdered Lorena Salas, Carlos Aniceto, and Ana Nuñez in Sierra Blanca, Texas then vanished never to be heard of again.
Authorities believe that these murders were the collateral damage of a cartel turf war that spilled into Mexico. Though, Lorena's niece, Magdalena Salas, does not believe that story.

Fiction. Not true crime.
If you listen to this knowing that it is fiction it’s okay. I think if you are an avid true crime fan you will catch that it’s completely scripted right away. However it should just not be advertised as a true crime podcast. Since you likely wasted some time to come to the conclusion I believe that’s why this has such poor reviews. If you’re interested in a FICTIONAL crime story then you will enjoy.
Incredibly dull
It’s just incredibly boring… I mean why waste your time listening to this, I don’t care if it’s fiction as long as it’s good. It’s not good or compelling in anyway.
Clever, creepy and cool
This was a really fun podcast. Very good storytelling, acting and a very rich soundscape. I quite enjoyed how the story developed with the numerous new characters that were introduced.
